STAAD(X).Tower provides the comprehensive analysis and design of monopoles, self-supporting and guyed communication towers through physical modeling and parametric tools, ensuring minimum user interaction.
STAAD(X) Tower V8i SELECT series 3 has been released and available for download from SELECT Services. Built on the STAAD(X) platform, it has been enhanced with the automatic wind load generation of discrete appurtenances per EIA/TIA-222-F and TIA-222-G standard for both monopole and self-supporting tower modules. The section configuration concept for geometry generation is introduced in the self-supporting tower module. Additional new features included enhanced panel geometry generation of self-supporting towers, wind load generation for self-supporting towers (3-leg and 4-leg) per both EIA/TIA-222-F and TIA-222-G standards for panel and section configuration, revised bracing patterns include redundant members, hip bracing members, feedlines inside monopoles, and member design calculations for self-supporting towers per both EIA/TIA-222-F and TIA-222-G standards.
